Learn acrylic from the very beginning, at your own pace, for a fraction of the studio price.
Most people learning acrylic are copying a video, getting a set that lifts within the week, and never finding out why. This course starts where the problem starts, with prep and structure, so what you build actually holds.
what you will be able to do
- Prep a nail properly, so nothing lifts at the cuticle
- Get your liquid to powder ratio right every time
- Apply and place a bead without flooding the sidewalls
- Build an apex that gives the nail its strength
- File and shape cleanly, from square through to almond
- Finish a full set start to finish on your own
who it is for
Anyone starting acrylic from zero, and anyone already doing sets who keeps running into lifting, bulk or uneven shape.
what you will need
Monomer, acrylic powder, a brush, tips, primer, dehydrator, a file and practice fingers. If you already do nails you likely have all of it.
Taught by Gianna, licensed manicurist and educator in Anaheim, California. If you want her beside you on a real hand, one on one training is available in the studio.
nail art 101
The art skills clients actually ask for, broken down so you can practice them at home.
You do not need a steady hand you were born with. You need to know how much product is on the brush, how to hold it, and what order to build in. That is what this covers.
what you will be able to do
- Pull a clean line that does not wobble or thicken
- Paint a french tip with an even smile line on all ten
- Build simple florals that read as flowers, not blobs
- Work with chrome so it lays flat and stays put
- Place rhinestones and charms that survive the week
- Design your own sets instead of copying a photo and hoping
who it is for
Anyone who can build a set but freezes at the art. Also a good pairing with Acrylic Nail Mastery if you are starting from nothing.
what you will need
Liner brushes, gel polish, top coat and something to practice on. Practice fingers are fine.

character art
Freehand character art, broken down step by step so you can follow along at your own speed.
Character nails are the sets that get saved, shared and requested by name. They are also the ones people assume they cannot do. Slow the process down and it is a sequence of simple shapes in the right order.
what you will be able to do
- Break a character down into shapes you can actually paint
- Get proportions right on a surface the size of a nail
- Build up in layers so colors stay clean and separate
- Add the fine detail that makes a character recognizable
- Seal it so the work does not smudge under top coat
who it is for
Anyone who wants character sets in their portfolio, and anyone whose clients keep sending inspiration photos they cannot yet deliver.

Fine liner brushes, gel colors and top coat.
